Famous People including me

He is wonderfully humble and entertaining. He was hosting 100 or so business students and he bought us all lunch and root beer floats at his favorite steak house in Omaha, Piccolo Pete’s. He randomly chose one of the dozen or more tables to sit at and happened to sit down across the table from me.
A week later I gave Muhammad Yunus a T-shirt. If you didn’t already know, he won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006 for his work in microfinance. As president of the Microfinance Alliance student club, it was very exciting to meet him and get this picture taken. As a result, I was quoted in the University of Minnesota paper, the MN Daily, in an article about microfinance.
I’m also currently headlining on the front page of the Carlson School of Management website. It’s a story about a non-profit case competition I attended in January in Atlanta. While I was there, it snowed, which is not particularly common in Atlanta. I thought that was bad luck. Now we’re supposed to get snow here in Minneapolis and it is April 25th!
